MEMBERSHIP DRAWING RULES & REGULATIONS EFFECTIVE 3/15/05 2 years ago, we initiated a membership drawing as an incentive to bring our members to our tailgate parties.  As with any new ideas, along with it you run into a few snags.  To alleviate any confusion in the future, the Board members of the Lima Area Browns Backers have adopted the following rules: Each member as they sign up or renew their membership will have a chip with their member # entered into the membership drawing bin. At the beginning of each new season, the Lima Area Browns Backers will put $75.00 into the beginning kitty.  The pot grows by each MEMBER coming to the tailgate party, paying $1.00 per week and signing their name on the membership drawing sign-up form.  At the end of the third quarter of that game, a chip will be drawn from membership drawing bin.  If the number matching that winner is signed up, he/she will win 75% of the pot.  The other 25% will be carried over to give a beginning balance for the following tailgate party.  If the person is NOT signed up for the chip that is drawn, the entire amount will carry over to the following tailgate party. We have 2 types of memberships when you sign up.  They are as follows: a family can have 1 membership and 1 membership card.  If this is the type of membership you have, then only 1 signature by the primary or secondary card holder is eligible.  The other is to have a family membership, and for a discounted price, you can purchase a second card for the secondary holder.  If you have this type of membership, then you can pay $1.00 for each card holder and sign both names.  (Children 17 & under are excluded from the membership drawing or signing for either card holder).  You do not have to be present to win the drawing EXCEPT FOR THE LAST TAILGATE PARTY (RULES LISTED BELOW), providing you signed in personally or by the rules listed above. Payments for the following tailgate party will be accepted for ticket holders who will be attending that next HOME game or when the Browns are playing the Bengals at Cincinnati. NO OTHER EXCEPTIONS! The final drawing will be held at the final tailgate party.  YOU, THE CARD HOLDER, MUST SIGN AND BE PRESENT AT THE DRAWING for the final drawing, and numbers will be drawn until there is a winner, in which 75% of the total will be paid to that winner.  In addition, if anyone wishes to join on the day of the final drawing, that member will be INELIGIBLE to sign up for that days drawing.
